Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare revealed by E3 2013 signs

Plants vs Zombies logoSigns spotted at the E3 2013 venue have revealed the existence of another Plants vs. Zombies experience, in the form of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, which could be the rumored multiplayer first-person shooter.

Plants vs. Zombies drew in millions of players from around the world a few years ago, and a sequel is set to debut next month exclusively for iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch), in the form of Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time.

Now, it seems that EA and PopCap are close to revealing the much rumored free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter based on the series, at least according to signs spotted at the E3 2013 event hall.

The image, available above via Gamekyo, shows something called Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, with a decisively more mature design.

No other details appeared, so fans should look forward to EA's own press conference at E3 2013 tomorrow, June 10.
