Update to iOS 9.3 is forcing apps to crash

Update to iOS 9.3 is forcing apps to crashIt has been a tough start for iOS 9.3. Apple had to temporarily stop rolling out the update after a problem was discovered that could have bricked older devices installing it. While Apple eventually resumed pushing out a revised version of iOS 9.3, a new issue has popped up. On Apple's Support Communities website, some Apple iPhone 6s and Apple iPhone 6s Plus users are complaining that certain apps are not working right.

Several links in Safari, Mail, Notes and Messages are not working. Instead of being taken to the linked site, the app will close, freeze or hang. Some have reported that disabling JavaScript will help fix some of the links in Safari, but that is a limited workaround. And while most of the complaints are coming from those using the newest iPhone models, some with older devices are experiencing the same issues. And others are saying that the broken links were a problem that had to be dealt with on iOS 9.2.1.

A video posted to YouTube shows links crashing and freezing. So many complaints are being posted about this, that we would have to assume that Apple is aware of what is going on. And that should mean that a fix will be issued shortly.
