iOS 8 should include multi-Color keyboard options

Apple logoI was scrolling through Google+ just now and stumbled across this interesting post by Mike R – who is not following me even though he should be – where he shows off an awesome blue virtual keyboard on his iPhone.

Naturally, I thought you couldn't get that without a jailbreak and, sure enough, I found the tweak on Cydia. It’s called BlueBoard and you’ll find it in the BigBoss repository.

“Okay this blue Keyboard is great. Looks even better in person,” writes Mike.

iOS 8 should include multi-Color keyboard options

Mike’s post made me realize that Apple would make a lot of people happy by just including a handy option to change the color of your keyboard. They should do it in iOS 8, as a sign of good will.

And yes, I know they care about their color palettes over there in Cupertino but, frankly, so do we. Who says I can’t have a mauve keyboard over a green background?
