Google is continuing its upwards trend, gaining a bit more market share in May in the US. Considering that it's already dominating the market, it's quite an achievement. Google went from 66.5 percent market share in April to 66.7 percent in May.
The gains are not exactly notable and Google has been known to lose in a month much more than it made all this year, but the simple fact is that it's not losing market share and it's not being threatened in any way by rivals.
Bing didn't manage to gain anything this month, not even the 0.2 percentage points Google did, and stayed flat at 15.4 percent market share.
Yahoo wasn't so lucky, it went from 13.5 percent in April to 13.4 percent last month. The other 0.1 percentage point Google gained from AOL.
