ZTE confirms Premium Windows Phone 8 Device in 2013

ZTE logoAlthough we have already had confirmations that Chinese handset manufacturer ZTE plans to continue launching Windows Phone devices, we now have more details on the companys roadmap for 2013.

According to 3G.co.uk, ZTE is expected to launch a premium smartphone powered by Microsofts upcoming Windows Phone 8 operating system in the first quarter of 2013.

Unfortunately, we dont have any details on the phones hardware configuration, but we suspect the device will be equipped with at least a dual-core processor and LTE support.

The main reason behind ZTEs decision to enter the high-end smartphone market is to change the brands perception as a low-end handset maker.

Hopefully, we will have more details on ZTEs Windows Phone roadmap for 2013 in the following months, so stay tuned for more info on the subject.
