LG codenamed F180 to pack quad-core Krait and Adreno 320

LG logoYesterday we told you about LG's in-house quad-core chipset called L9. It is supposed to power a new Optimus smartphone with a true HD screen and 10 or more megapixels worth of camera.

Today we get more details on the phone’s specs. Its codename is F180 and should pack a quad-core 1.5GHz Krait processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM, LTE support and a 13MP camera. Sounds impressive, right?

The rest of the rumored specs include a 5-inch HD IPS screen, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, NFC connectivity and a 2100 mAh battery. The expected availability is September, as we reported yesterday.

The LG F180 sounds like one of the hottest devices of the year on paper and we really hope the real thing turns out close to those rumors.
