Adesso intros 2.4GHz RF Wireless keyboard

Adesso logoComputer peripherals maker Adesso on Tuesday introduced the WKB-4200UB keyboard, a 2.4GHz RF wireless combo controller. Made up of a full-sized QWERTY keyboard and a notebook-like touchpad, it has a range of up to 30 feet. There are four integrated Internet hotkeys, six multimedia keys and three PC hotkeys.

In an unusual twist, multiple 4200UBs can be used in the same room, thanks to 6500 IDs on 12 channels.

To save the life of the two included AAA batteries, the keyboard has a sleep mode that reduces power usage after 10 minutes of inactivity, as well as a power switch that completely cuts off power draw. A standby mode is engaged nearly instantly after no input of any kind is detected.

The Adesso WKB-4200UB keyboard is now available for $120.
