Nokia might have just teased its first smartphone in a long time

Nokia logoNokia has become a hot topic since the company confirmed its plans to return to the smartphone market. Once the leader in the mobile industry, Nokia is now trying to regain some of its lost glory.

We're convinced Nokia still has lots of fans across the globe, but without proper planning and a solid lineup of products, the Finnish business will have a hard time competing with bigger companies in the industry.

While everything points to a late 2016 comeback for Nokia, we're still in the dark when it comes to accurate details on the smartphones the company will launch, as well as their release dates.

Rumor has it, at least two Nokia smartphones will hit shelves by the end of the year, and possiblly one or two feature phones as well. Two more Android smartphones are in the cards too, but depending on how well testing goes they might be unveiled in late 2016 or early 2017.

There is a slight possibility that one of the Android smartphones Nokia plans to launch this year might have just been revealed in an official picture published on the company's Twitter account.

Nokia might have just teased its first smartphone in a long time

This looks like a prototype device that hasn't been announced yet, although we might be wrong due to the hype. Even if this seems a bit far fetched, we shouldn't rule out the possibility that this could actually be one of the first Android smartphones launched by Nokia in a long time.

Unfortunately, we're only offered a view of the back side of the smartphone, so it's hard to tell whether or not this is an unreleased device. Check out the picture and share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
