Sony could be prepping the DualShock 4 for the PC

Sony logoMany gamers probably know that using controllers to play certain games makes for a much better experience compared to the keyboard and mouse. Now there are tons of different controllers available today, and for the longest time ever, Microsoft’s Xbox controllers have always played nicely with PCs.

Sony’s DualShock controllers on the other hand don’t, or at least not until gamers have to download an unofficial tool just to get it working. The good news is that soon you won’t have to rely on third-party tools because a recent FCC filing has revealed that Sony could be working to bring the DualShock 4 to the PC.

Sony could be prepping the DualShock 4 for the PC

The FCC filing is for a wireless adapter with the product code CUH-ZWA1U, with the CUH code indicating that they are associated with the PS4. This means that this accessory has some kind of link with the PS4, but there’s an accompanying diagram of the device in question which we have to say looks very much like it connects via USB.

This has since led to speculation that this could be a wireless adapter that one can attach to their PC that will allow gamers to connect the DualShock 4 controller to it. Of course this is quite a stretch and this is pure speculation, but for gamers who have always longed for official DualShock 4 support on their PC, this could be a possibility.
