Specifications for what could be the "mini" version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 have reportedly leaked, suggesting it to be a considerable improvement over the previous model. The smaller version of the Samsung flagship smartphone, previously hinted at via a user agent profile on a company server, will apparently have a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display at a 720p resolution, and will ship with Android 4.4 onboard.
Sources of SamMobile claim it will have an unidentified Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, possibly a quad-core Snapdragon 400, with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It will also apparently have an 8-megapixel rear camera with a 2-megapixel counterpart, a 2,100mAh battery, and an IR blaster, though it is unclear if the heart rate and fingerprint sensors of the full-size model will make the transition.
Though release information remains unknown, it is thought to launch sometime in June, one month later than the Galaxy S4 mini's launch last year.
