Windows 10 Mobile grows to now be on 7% of Windows phones

Windows 10 Mobile logoAndroid is not the only platform suffering from issues with fragmentation: despite trying to play them down, issues with fragmentation exist on Apple's platform (the most crucial one with software updates, however, is handled much better on iOS), and now, we are seeing an in-depth report from AdDuplex about the speed of Windows 10 Mobile adoption.

The news in a nutshell: Windows 10 is now on 7% of devices now. What does this mean? Well, not all that much: keep in mind that Windows 10 Mobile is still considered to be in the late development phase and the update has not officially started rolling out to devices, so we're talking about new devices like the Lumia 640 that are picking up steam, as well as developer previews installed on existing devices.

Windows 10 Mobile grows to now be on 7% of Windows phones

The detailed breakdown below shows which are the biggest manufacturers (but you already know, it's all about Microsoft and nobody else is making Windows Phones), and what are the sales in some markets. Take a look at the data and if you are one of the not so many Windows 10 Mobile fans out there, do not forget that the new Lumia 950 and 950 XL flagships are now on sale in select Microsoft stores, as well as online.
